What adhesive should I use?

The cover for the low level light cluster has come off. Luckily I managed to retrieve the plastic cover but the tabs to reattach are broken. I think I will have no option but to glue it back in place in order to protect the wiring underneath.

Any recommendations for an adhesive that could stand the vibration, Scottish weather and general under-car environment stresses without falling off? Or should I look for a proper replacement?

Gorilla Glue would be my choice.

The clips / tabs holding the cover in place don't look too expensive, available from a Pug dealer....

There's only one problem with gluing it in if the unit becomes faulty how do you get it off the car chrismac is probably right by suggesting looking for an alternative to fixing it back besides glue

I would screw a small bracket to each side with self tapping screws so you can get access to the bulbs at any point that you may need to

I didn't think to look if the clips and tabs were separate. Dealer it is then for the parts. I'm pretty sure I could fit it myself, but I will probably look for a volunteer amongst my children or grandchildren - getting old has to have some perks!

I would rather fix it properly, but it is getting a bit long in the tooth for major expenditure.

Many thanks for the suggestions and I can always try Gorilla glue as a last resort.
