Hi,

is the Vision Pack worth Getting ? I have ordered a new RCZ and did not add it on, as the car is not built I can still add it on, is it worth the £680 you pay for it what are the advantages ? :geek:

Many non xenon rcz owners have regretted NOT getting this option on the MK1 rcz.On the MK2 its a must as the xenon light enclosures are coloured charcoal giving a more expensive to look to the new facelift rcz, apart from giving off a far better light into the bargain ADD VISION PACK ASAP ITS THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY OPTION FOR THE RCZ

No two ways about it...get it! It's one option that I didn't go for on my own and I will always regret not getting it. It will massively improve your light coverage and it also looks much cooler. Honestly, if you can afford to do it then don't even consider it any further just get it specced!!

Yep. If you can do so, is a definite advantage. The better visibility from them is amazing. I know I have had both the standard and the Xenon.

Agree with RCZ1 move quickly - I decided 1 week after I placed my order I needed the vision pack (mainly due to this forum, thank you) called my dealer and they had to cancel my order on the system and put a new order through. They made it clear when I was speaking to them and decided they were so essential I could take the hit on going to the back of the queue and loosing a week..

You will not regret it, once the car arrives. They are considerably better than the non vision pack versions. Lots of features with them, it's not simply the better grade of lighting either.

The vision pack is very good! It includes auto dipping mirrors which are a must for not scuffing the nice new alloys! The tyres sensors are also good! I've got the Vision pack and the black pack, go well together!

The mirrors aren't actually part of the Vison pack Perky. They have always been standard on the GT. This may have been extended across the range but can't recall from memory.

It says its a linked option with the Vision pack in the brochure...

My current MK1 GT has the dipping wing mirrors without the Xenons. As has been said an option a regret not getting first time round, Xenons are a must option.

Deffo Black Arches.

How very strange. It is standard for the dipping wing mirrors on the mk1 GT models and would be interested to hear from a mark2 owner who does not have the vision pack if this has indeed changed. The brochure for the new version does indeed state this. I cannot fathom why the elected to drop this as standard from the GT with so much of the equipment that was previously exclusive to the GT being extended across the range as standard kit. It would kinda make you wonder what you're paying for asides from some bigger alloys (which I would still upgrade anyway personally). Hmmmmm...can anyone provide a definitive answer?!

Dipping wing mirrors are not standard now on the Mk2. I've never had them so not missed them although I still do use the wing mirrors for reversing so not been a problem for me.

Mr Rizz your comment echoes my own thoughts. I don't see the point of paying the extra for the GT except for the bigger wheels. So that's £2500 pounds for 19 inch wheels! For me the Sport with my leather fitted is an extremely good buy and a cost saving :)
