Urgent repair needed

Hello All,

Ref: RCZ 1.6T 156THP Manual
Just thought I would let you all know that I had a problem the other day with the engine management light coming on and a message saying "urgent engine failure needs repair".
This happened as soon as I got on the motorway and I put my foot down (only to build up speed was just coming off the slip road onto the motorway). Luckily as soon as this message appeared I got in touch with my local peugeot dealer and they done there diognostic check.
Apparantly there is a tube that needs replacing that takes the air flow to the turbo and it is not getting the air quick enough so Peugeot need to replace this tube with a more robust tube (I think the current one is a straight tube and replace with a ribbed one for better airflow). Peugeot seemed to know about this and have put the part on order.
Car was safe drive as I was on my way on holiday to Yorkshire so had a 5 hour drive.
Peugeot confimred it was safe to drive. Didnt have any problemes while away no power loss or anything, engine light stayed on for a couple of days but has now gone out. So just waiting for the part and to arrive and be fitted.

Hope this exaplains the problem and helps other out.
