They possibly weren't over-inflated. It's been mega hot this week so the air in the tyres expands and gives a false reading. If you let some air out there is now probably less air than there should be in them. Check them again when things have cooled down (after being sat in shade, in the evening, etc.) and you should get a true reading. :thumbup:

I think the correct pressures stated for your car by the manufacturer are the optimum ones.

Going to try a different petrol station tonight to make sure the gauge wasnt faulty at the other one.
