Hi all,
Anyone see last night's TV's Watchdog which investigated problems with Audi's 2.0L FSI motor from 2011 onwards for excessive use of oil, some owners using a litre of oil every 75 miles!
Apparently there is a known problem with the Pistons and rings on these engines which can cost up to 2k to repair if out of warranty. It was said that a big law suit in America over the same problem made Audi recompense owners and repair their cars free of charge, but over here in the UK Audi are dragging their feet! (Sounds like some French firms out there  )
So after all the known Faults documented by Z owners it just goes to prove even the Gods of reliability Audi can drop the ball!! Vorsprung durch Technik!
