Hi there has any one had a fault on the turbo. Two weeks ago the engine light came on as I was putting my foot on the gas. So I took it in to my nears Peugeot dealer . They say it was the turbo and reconfirge it. Today it happen again 40miles away from exmouth so took it in to Exeter dealer but as I am not staying down here they could not fix it. So I am taking it to Dorchester dealer as I had book a b&b now there and don't want to waste it so hope they can fix it.
It's a p2263-turbocharging pressure regulation fault

Supply and demand my friend, it takes time to build up spares especially with a new model like ours. I've got the same problem with a failing seat belt - on back order, I post up about that later.

Hi Guys 'n Gals,

Just a build on the comment about 207 Gti engines suffering from a similar problem.

I currently have a 207 Gti and have just been through the anti-pollution system fault/lack of power issue.

On my car, first the timing chain tensioner was changed for a modified version, then the variable valve timing sprocket on one of the cam shafts was replaced.

It has been fine ever since and can return 45mpg+ on a steady motorway run from London to Birmingham.

I have an acquaintence who also has a 207 Gti. He has had similar problems but believes he has also had an ECU software upgrade.

I know I haven't because I have facilities to interrogate the ECU in my car and it reports the same software version as it did before the rectification was done.

From what I can see, it looks like there was some form of design flaw that affected one or more engine types for a period of time.

I would advise anyone who has these sort of problems to do a quick internet search using tems like 'anti-pollution fault', 'thp', '207 gti' & 'mini'.

This should bring up a few blog/forum posts from other owners with similar problems.

Armed with this info., a polite conversation with your Dealer or warranty provider should get it fixed. It's an known issue but they like to down-play the significance.

Get it fixed before your warranty expires.
