Just had four (4) new tyres fitted together with new TPM's on 2012 1.6 petrol. New monitors have same part/serial nos. as originals. Low pressure warning display is now evident and intermittent (dash warning was previously displayed for around 2 years as tyres were very old and assumed TPM batteries were flat). Can the TPMS now be reset without a scan tool or will the TPMS eventually relearn itself?

New sensor/sensors need to be paired or relearnt to talk to the TPS system apparently there are 2 ways OBD scan or use "stationary reset" button procedure

Some RCZs you can have the tpms changed make sure that the tyre pressure is correct and then take the car for a drive starting at 30,then 40,then 50mph and will rest it's self.. I had all my wheels refurbished and put new tyres on and had new tpms fitted and that is what I had to do and all been OK now.. Hope this helps you out
