Hello everyone
I don't have the tpms system on my car
I found a set of used sensors
I also find a second hand module
I imagine that I can fit the sensors plug in the module and activate the system via peugeot diagnostic
Do I need anything else to make it work?
Where is the module located?

My car doesn't have TPMS either.
I did some research on the subject.
The module place is under the ODB2 connector, ahead of the shift lever.
I disassembled the plastics to access the place and there is no free connector or cable there.
I gave up investigating further.

That's a little strange
I think that the wireness is the same in all cars (its cheaper that way for every company) and that only modules sensors etc are the parts missing
Somewhere must be a free connector

I took a good look at it and there is no connector or cable left over.
Keep in mind that in modern cars the devices are usually connected in a ring.
If a device does not exist, the wiring can jump to the next one without having any free connector.

You can access the place by removing the gear lever cover and the plastic piece where it is attached. For me it would also be a joy if you find the connector

Also the TPMS option was sold in the pack-vision with other options and probably with a different wiring

I believe you but my car for example has cables "waiting" for front parking sensors
I will take a look sometime soon because i have to change my tires and it's now or never for me if i am to put the tpms
Are you sure that the location is where you describe'd it?

The tpms are In the tyre at the end of the the valves on the mk1 you have to set them up to the car but on the MK2 they are set automatically if you put new tpms in and take the car for a little drive and they are programed to set them selves up via ecu... Hope this helps you out
Drive safe and stay lucky 🍀

Does anyone know the module part number of the mk2?
I prefer the auto set instead of programming to a dealer

As you can see in the list on the right of the image, there is not just one wiring for all, but several depending on the options.

Therefore, it is almost certain that your car does not have the module connector in the wiring ... mine neither

I have it on another car and it is really helpful
If I can do it easily and cheap i am willing to do it
If I can't I won't

Why bother just use a tyre gauge ?
With low profile tires, it is not clearly noticeable when driving that a tire is low on pressure.
It would be good to have immediate information, if not when you finally notice it, it may be that the tire is already irreparable. Once it happened to me.

Depending how you drive (not on the brakes?) tyres should have a good service lifespan if checked periodically however the biggest problems facing drivers especially in the UK is the is the atrocious state of some roads which are constantly being hammered by HGVs etc

I visited a peugeot dealer today and he told me that the module is supposed to be somewhere behind the battery and not in the center console
The research continues
