Just sold my Honda civic Type S GT and got a buyer for my Corsa 1.7 Turbo diesel, the problem is what to replace them with a Scirocco 170 BHP or The RCZ 2.0 HD. One very important question i need answering,is the RCZ any good in the snow as i live in the north east and last year the civic was garaged as it was useless in the snow. If i drop down to one car i need something that will tackle medium snow fall. Any comments welcome

I drove my RCZ last winter in the snow and it coped with it well. As long as you accelerate smoothly, brake smoothly and turn smoothly, like most cars, you will be fine. There was one week the RCZ was off the road but that was during the thickest snow fall and it would have been fine on the roads, I just couldn't get it out of the drive. Other half's 4x4 deep tyres had built up the snow in the middle of the drive and as the RCZ is so low, it couldn't get over it because it had frozen solid :D

RCZ1 runs 18" wheels on her Sport model. However if you get the GT as you speak of then you'll be on 19" and mine was not too good at all in the snow. As the snow was deeper than the tyre depth on most occasions. But I am happy to have the joy and pleasure of the 2.0 HDi knowing that a few times in the year I will have to make alternative arrangements.
