Hello everybody,

I have a problems with my 200HP engine and it goes like that:)

1. PROBLEM
When I fully throttle a strange thing happens. The air starts flowing into the cabin from air vents. Even if I turn off the air ventilation for the cabin, when I fully throttle the air starts to flow from wents from the air vents inside of cabin. Engine looks ok. It maybe accelerates a little slower but if this is true, there is no big difference.

2. PROBLEM
Occasionaly the light for "engine repair needed" turns on. There is no other indicators that something is wrong. Sound is ok, fuel consumption is ok. When I connect my RCZ to a computer It shows mistakes on turbo. The car has 115k kilomters and was made in 2012.

3. PROBLEM
Occasionaly when the car is on elevated/not even surface and I start driving from 0 the strange high pitch sound is made when Im releasing the clutch and pushing the throttle at the same time. It allmost allways happens when the car is pitched forward and backwards with combination of turning the wheel while starting to drive from 0. It never hapens with normal shifting or downshifting while allready driving no matter what the speed. And the clutch is not sliping and it is very responsive.

If anyone have any information or advice it would be very helpful:)

Your third problem - this has been reported a few times on here, including by myself.

I had my clutch assembly replaced under extended warranty as they decided that it was the dmf (dual mass flywheel) that was causing the issue.

I had a similar noise to your description with no other symptoms.

As for the other issues, if you have some kind of split ear the turbo, that could possibly cause air to be pushed into the cabin, and also throw up a turbo fault. Just a thought, as I am no mechanic.

I have the same symptoms as your 3rd point. I'm pretty sure it's a clutch related issue. I'm putting up with it for now, will have to bite the bullet soon and get it fixed but it won't be cheap. I've had a quote for a new clutch kit....£750.....

When mine was replaced by a main Peugeot dealer under warranty the invoice to the warranty company was @ £1600.

I also occasionally had that weird sound but ignored it and few months later it disappeared.

My quote was from an independent garage. When I get the squealing noise it also gives that easily recognisable burnt clutch smell.

I keep hoping mine will disappear but no such luck yet. Not sure if leaving it will cause any bigger issues but it's the kind of issue I can generally live with.

It really was very intermittent, and just a noise, no judder or smell or slipping, nothing. I was quite surprised when they decided to replace the entire clutch assembly, but as it wasn’t costing me anything who was I to argue.
