the S button?!

I just bought a new RCZ here in Kuwait. Unfortunately the owners manual is in Arabic. I downloaded the only english one I could find but its only for manual ones. Mine is automatic and I want to know what the two buttons on the left hand side do. One is S and the one below it has a frost sign on it so I assume its for wet/snowy weather.

On page 130 it says:
The S is the sport function
And the other is the snow function.

Page 131 tells you what they do, they basically change the gear ratios I think.

I'm sure they could just build and freeze a snow capped mountain road to get more use of the 'ice' button
