Got this coming on the dash last night ??

Is this anything to worry about
Iv had the car at dealer for few other things an it's to go back in on Tuesday 7th

Should I allows be saying to them with regards to warning light?

Also to top it off my alloys are scratched now after getting the car back from dealers ..

So that's another fight that I'll find it hard to prove

The particle filter gets clogged up if the car does short journeys . It's a simple fix you need to keep the revs above 2500 rpm for 15 minutes take it on motorway keep it in 4th and revs above 2500rpm the filter will regenerate itself . This what the dealer will do . To avoid the prob again stop driving it like your granny lol

The dpf light will be something to do with you not having driven it at a highish speed (60mph) for a sustained period of time. I think. Tell them on Tuesday - is it still under warranty?

Moreover, always get the dealer to inspect your alloys (as well as the rest of the car) and note on the inspection sheet that there are no marks. Get a copy of this and when you pick it up there will be no arguments. I go as far as the dealer getting on the floor and confirming my jacking points are all OK as well. They love me there and are looking forward to my MOT/service and new tyre visit this month!

My warranty runs out on march,

Are the alloys covered by warranty ? As iv noticed some of the paint is flaking from wheels an it's only an 11 plate

Spoke to dealer today with regards to wheels an they say nothing caused the rims to be scratched

Ok - two separate issues here.

Scratched alloys - dealer not taking responsibility. You will need to escalate this higher up the dealer/Peugeot chain if you are sure it was them. When you say scratched what do you mean - kerbed? And how many?

Flaking - I had all four of my solstice alloys replaced under warranty as the lacquer had peeled off and there was a lot 'pitting'. I pulled together a document with photos off all 4 alloys highlighting the defects and it was sent to Peugeot UK/HQ. which alloys do you have?

The issue that iv noticed looks as tho the alloy has been Kirbed

But they are also flaking iv only noticed past few days when I was looking at it closer

The best piece of information that I had on a previous thread was to keep at circa 2k revs (plus) in whatever gear you are in.

I had a couple of months of the DPF activation and despite doing 50-60 for 20 mins plus etc, it kept coming back.
Since the above information, I've kept it at 2k revs (plus) in whatever gear I'm in and the problem hasn't returned - been a good six months now.

Try this and see how you get on.
This may assist in you not regularly accessing a motorway to do the sufficient speed for that period of time.

Just to let you know guys the filter is getting changed under waranty an they are also changing the full radio unit ... As I was having problems with the USB unit not recognising any ipod

They looked at alloys an someone from alloy refurb department said the wheels would need replaced rather than repaired

So fingered crossed
