Went out in a friends Tesla last night. First time since he had the software updated. Strange experience as the car can now drive it`s self, i.e., hands off the steering wheel. :eek: It will not exceed the speed limit in this mode, and is not 100%, so not for road use !

Indeed... The "Insane mode" is what it's named :lol: 0-60mph in 3s and total silence :)

Actually the guy who went with me on the test drive said "that is the safest I have felt on a test drive" I enquired as to why and he said people just put their foot down and go mad!
I said the point if a test drive is to be able to compare this vehicle with the way you normally drive and not to go berserk just cos you can hand it back.

When on test drives just remember the passenger doesn't have a wheel to hold on to like the driver!

When I first test drove an RCZ (200 GT) about the only thing the salesman managed to say during the drive was " just remember, it's your licence" :helpme:
