Hi guys. Just looking through the manual re cleaning. It says to clean the "TEP" with soapy water and dry with another cloth. What the flipping eck is "TEP"? :-(

I looked it up too and agree with John, who knew/found the answer before me :thumbup:

Don't tell anyone but I cleaned it with DFS leather wipes and conditioning wipes *shhhh ;-)

Do you have the real leather or the faux?

Unfortunately I think it's the faux. I honestly can't tell.

If you didn't pay extra for the "full intragral leather" then you are probably right. The easiest way to tell is by the colouring of the stitching. Real leather has matching coloured stitches whereas the faux has white.

Yep. You've got the faux. Continue to clean it with a damp cloth and wipe dry with a different clean cloth. As you have done from new :eusa-shhh: Where as I shall continue to use my Furniture clinic stuff on mine and their wipes in between applications.

You can still use a water based leather cleaner on the faux leather. I use the Furniture Clinic cleaner and protectant on the dash and door cards. Protectant I apply every 3 months. It helps stop staining and provides a protective layer against water spotting from rain when you open the door.

Nope. I say that my memory is appalling, whereas my doctor says that my memory is fine, but I just can't recall things. In a way, I see where she is coming from. I know that I did a thing but simply can't recall when it was. So by the time i'd answered question 1 they'd be onto the celebrations for the winners :lol:
