Hello guys,

I'm the happy owner of a RHD 2011 RCZ here in Spain and I'd love to replace the steering wheel but I'm unsure whether the airbag and horn connector will vary. Any of you if this can be done or it needs some mods.

My RCZ is a 156bhp and I have recently purchased a set if wheel spacers, 20mm back and 15mm for the front. I'm planning to do an engine remap in a local garage as Ive been promised an increase of 30bhp and 50/60nm of torque.

Going back to the above subject, any advice regarding steering wheel swap?

Not sure if it was done yet, but you would have to ignore the "not working" buttons on the steering wheel, as your stalks would have to stay in place.

Overall, have you had any issues with wheel spacers? Where did you buy them?

It seems to me an uglier steering wheel than the original, plus you will have a lot of useless buttons.

As far as I know, wheel spacers are illegal in Spain unless they are approved. You can be fined directly if the police discover them and they are not approved in the vehicle's technical sheet.

Well, I think the OEM one is not very good at all. But if you like it good for you. Wheel spacers is not an issue as long as you don't go over the top staying within the wheel archers.

I found somebody who managed to fit my new steering WHEEL from MODIFIED PEUGEOT RCZ on Facebook. It's definetely NOT a plug and play fit.
Wheel spacers are fine by the way.
