Sticking clutch pedal

Hello there,
When I’m thrashing the Pug (often) and go for a heat change at 5-6k revs the clutch pedal does not come up quick enough so a quick gear change is out of the question Anyone had the same problem?

Apparently Jeremy Clarkson had the same trouble when he did the review & test drive

Nah, not got big feet just a heavy right one Is it a cable clutch or hydraulic?

I have always had what I presumed was clutch slip whenever I drove spirited. I have a THP200 and its on a 15 plate (owned for 2 years), and it has always done it. Just thought it was what these did? Only happens when putting down high revs, and releasing the clutch (standing start or gear changing).
