SOS/Peugeot assistance buttons-Free or yearly subscription?

Can anyone tell me if the SOS & the Peugeot Assistance buttons on dash requires a yearly subscription or is the fascility free! I'm assuming it is now activated in UK, I believe it was due to be available here around June time, but we don't fancy pressing either of them to find out! :eusa-think:

Has anyone had to use either of them anywhere in the world :?:

We've had our RCZ for 1 year on 22nd Nov, & have never thought about these things until now, but now is the time for renewing/changing things (but NOT our gorgeous RCZ )

As far as I am aware they are not active in the UK.

I have read that they would activate summer 2011 in the uk, but I havent heard anyone say they are active :eusa-think:

These functions are as yet not operational on RCZ. We are currently looking at early 2012 but this is still awaiting confirmation.

I had read in a Peugeot Mag in our dealership that it was supposed to be activated here in the Summer, but will keep our eyes open for 2012 now. :thumbup:
