.......And collected my new one today!!

After lots of thought and debate I finally took the plunge and exchanged my GT 156 for the GT 200.
Owned my 156 since July and cover 6K+ miles, but at the time I bought it I wasn't aware of the differences between the two models. Once I did it kept nibbling away at me so I eventually gave in!!
Glad I did as I love the extra power and noise whilst the impact on my pocket has been practically insignificant!

Cheers.

is there really that much difference between the 2 engines?

Did you loose much on the trade in?

Thinking I might do the same, as it is also bugging me

Hey Guys!,

Yes I could notice the difference in the engine performance and the noise of the butterfly valve is fab! Put a smile on my face every time it 'burbels" (cannot spell - sorry)
When I purchased my original 156 it was the showroom car so not the exact spec I wanted.
I stuck with the same colour - Dolphin blue, but this time I got the matching blue integral dashboard to go with the blue leather seats - well smart.
Also got the vision pack which I didn't want to lose.
The only compromise was loosing my LED DRLs I had fitted - but in time I can replace.

In terms finances - yes the part-ex took quite a hit, but I negotiated a much better deal on the 200 than I got on the 156 (in actual terms cost me less) so overall I'm paying about £6 pcm more which I can live with.
Also insurance only went up £14 for 11 months, tax the same, and hopefully not much different on mpg so overall very happy!

Cheers,
Bradders

Sounds nice Bradders. Are you going to post some pics of your new one? You could post before and after pics
