SAT NAV OVERHEATING

Hi everyone I just purchased a 2012 RCZ 1.6 200thp and it's amazing but after a week of driving it it the sat nav started to say " system overheating and shuts down every time" and it does that as you drive at least 3-4 times I know is not overheated as even if the car was not driven for a whole day as you turn the engine on does the same. Can't listen to music or radio or anything. Please help

There is a fan blower inside the unit, maybe yours has stopped working?

My fan started to catch, got mine replaced under warranty.

I also found that there are some blanks on the heating ducts that have blown off and heat from here can also give problems.

You could also try a reset, but it sounds from the previous two answers that it is likely to be "physical" issue rather than a software glitch.
