Well, we ain't gone nowhere since last March, so the "Fun" motor and the "Workhorse" have been sleeping, whilst only "Runabout" has been running about.
The "Sack shifter" has been in the workshop, having a regular once-over and ITV (MoT), so has been idle also.
Being decrepit old gits and classed as vulnerable, we have isolated ourselves as much as possible, with visits to the village only to stock up on essentials.
It is difficult to imagine what it must be like for those in apartments in cities, but we do see, on the TV news, the conditions and unpleasant restrictions of millions of those less fortunate than ourselves; we live on a small piece of our own land, outside of a village, but sufficient to enable us to stretch our legs and take the air.
Also the number of contacts we make, hopefully, keeps us at a lower risk of contagion; masks and using hand sanitizer, always.
We miss seeing our grandchildren, and the rest of the family, them being near Madrid and in the North of England.
A family wedding last year was postponed so flights and hotel bookings moved; but it now looks likely the revised dates will be hit, so deja vu.
Last estimate for our turn for a jab is June, so hopefully we will be able to visit our holiday home in the South this coming summer.
Hope you are all keeping well and taking care.
