Hi all, just a follow up on my remap, firstly for anyone thinking of having a remap done the ECU has to be removed from the car to do the remap

as it can't be done through the OBD port. So a tad awkward to remove due to the anti tamper shear bolts securing the ECU in place. I left the job to a mate (Top Mazda technician) On the re install new shear bolts were used not only making it secure but back to factory look so no one would think it had been off!
So the results :eusa-think:
Just pulling the car off the drive it somehow felt smoother but could this just be the placebo effect?? But no once warmed up a good hard run well up into 3 figures the car pulls so smoothly going to the redline in the first 4 gears totally seamless power loads more grunt lower down the rev range but the thing that amazes me is how quiet and unstressed the engine feels loads smoother and a totally better drive well worth the money!
So if your considering a remap I would definitely recommend doing it just use a recommended outfit.
Cost me £190 if you want the guys number drop me a PM for his number he's based in castleford west Yorkshire.
