Red light when alarm is on

Just wanted to check I'm not going mad .....

My recollection is that when locked and alarmed, a single red light on one of the buttons on the dash flashes.

When locking last night, I spotted that two red lights (adjacent to each other) were flashing alternately.

Anyone spotted this, or able to put me right? :crazy:

When both flash it means the immobilizer is set plus the dead locks. Did you press the lock button twice - this normally sets the dead locks?

Yes that is correct it will flash red lights on off when you press remote lock key twice all ways do this as it make the car more safe.
