Just been told by my local Peugeot Garage that the special edition 'Red Carbon' model in Moroccan Red is no longer available, as Peugeot have stopped making them. You would have thought they'd have knew this when I ordered it :cry:

Have you already got one on order? If so then they're surely obligated to find one and fulfil the order or they're breaking the terms of a signed contract.

Sorry to hear that you're losing out here. You'd think they'd know how many builds were remaining and the ordering system (this is the 21st century after all!) would prevent over ordering...but...

I think this will have to be a case of "check the small print" to see if they have written a get out clause into the contact.

Hope you get somewhere, the dealer should at least offer you something in recompense if you went ahead with a different order.

Ordered it, signed for it & paid deposit on Saturday, then I get the call on Wednesday to say there aren't any & they've stopped making them. I think they said they only made 300.
Just going to keep hold of my RCZ Sport for now. After all, there's nothing wrong with it :thumbup:

i feel for you.. :(
the red carbon was my pref choice but fleet provider wouldn't play ball.

i think i'd have a ring round dealers myself to see if any are available.

I guess the dealer isn't to know there are none available until they actually put the order into Peugeot. Still a disappointment though.

....I looked at a black 'red carbon' on Autotrader this morning!! Get on there.



there are several Moroccon ones ... maybe one is close to you ?
