Recall notice, temp sensor!

I would put this in gen tech but i doubt many people would see it, so I have now received a recall notice from Peugeot to fit a new (modified) temp sensor to my RCZ R, seems you lot may get one of these notices shortly too (I hope!) but its being sorted which is nice :thumbup:

It seems that 'R' owners are in a prestigious club in regards to the sensor issue with an actual recall Shame that the same old problem persists even to this day

Or, just as it was with the wishbone issue, it doesn't affect my vehicle.

If you remember, when asked, my dealer was fully aware of that issue and had already confirmed it didn't apply to mine before I took delivery.

Having said that, it will do no harm to ask the same question regarding this sensor issue/recall.

I'll let you know what transpires.

Mine THP200 was recalled in April.

Same here, even though the temp sensor had already been replaced under warranty a year earlier. I had a phone call from Peugeot head office totally out of the blue advising me there was a recall and booking me in to my local dealer.

Having contacted my dealer and them having specifically checked for me, it appears that this recall does not apply to the batch of vehicles mine belongs to.

So, that perfectly explains why I have not received a recall letter and in no way suggests inconsistency within Peugeot.
(Assuming no one is lying & why would they - if they feel compelled to tell every one else, why pick me out for special treatment?)
