Anyone had their 2litre HDI re-mapped? If so what were the results and did you have any problems afterward?
Thanks for any comments in advance

This is a print out from superchips

One word of warning if you get it chipped and then serviced at a Peugeot dealer and they update the software it will remove the chip and so costing you £320!!! That is the reason I haven't done it yet as the wife says I must get a dealer to service the car not myself :(

Your welcome! I to bought the car on looks me and the wife just fell in love :) I'm impressed to for a diesel it does move and when you get a fast open road with overtakes it does bring a massive grin to my face! I used to have a civic type s which was 160bhp but a petrol I loved that cars vtec but this rcz just seems easier to drive and less effort to it as well! But when I'm bored and the wife agrees ill chip her too! As I'm only 1 mile from there head quarters ;)

A remap is more than likely to be found in the event the service station needs to do anything with the ECU, but in most cases it is not touched, unless you have reported an issue that involves the ECU or if a recall or software update is needed. Again they would not do anything to the ECU unless there is a real need (oil change and other scheduled services do not require any touching of the ECU).

With that said you can always use a RaceChip module which we have sold many of and have received lots of feedback in regards to satisfaction with the results. The RaceChip can be removed at any time and does not leave anything on the ECU that it was there.

Some people have pros and cons about remaps and/or modules, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
