RCZ Technical Discussion

Just received a Post card from my Dealer, reminding me that As my car is now 1 year old, I should be 'Booking ' it in for its First Service. Tried ringing, but they are engaged at the moment, which leads me to ask the opinion of the Forum of my situation.
Firstly, I thought, (According to my Service Book), the first Service is 20000 milkes or 2 Years ! !
Secondly, I have only done 2500 miles . Seems that to pay out for a service which I would say is not critical, is a waste of hard earned readies.
I will be interetsed to see what the Dealer says, but invite fellow RCZ- ers to comment.

Regards
M.

In your case with such low mileage, I would not be going to the main dealer for an interim service. If you had done closer to the 10,000 mile mark then I would be saying that an oil change would not go amiss. If you are satisfied that there are not any issues with the car, then save your money.

what Ron said - warranty is still satisfied and at only 2500 miles no need for oil changes yet

As Marcus recently pointed out, the recommended service interval is 20k or 2 years but Peugeot would like you to have the interim service after a year just to make sure everything is ok.

Hi, A new Peugeot policy is to do a filter and oil change at 1yr. Just had mine done I think its good policy, cost was about ₤89,an hours wait plus they did a yearly safety check, free software update on the NG4 sat nav, washed the car, free coffee and on my way. Value for money or what.
