So we continue with making My RCZ mobile once again.

After fitting the new Suspension beam, I began to put back the brakes and suspension.

Time flies when your having fun.

Its quite straight forward to do, but needed a hand with bleeding the rear brakes.

Now I was ready to put on the used rear bumper found on ebay.

Quite easy to change, removes with lots of clips, screws and bolts. Then remove all reversing sensors and wiring for lights boot switch etc.

This one I bought had a small bit of damage, but will repair this when I make a start on the bodywork.

Now I could put on the wheels and let the suspension settle correctly before tightening all the shocker and suspension bush bolts.

Put on this set of wheels and just checked everything over, drives well and stops well now.

So that is all the mechanical repairs done....

All door shuts are nice and even, all wheels are in line..

Things are starting to take shape...........................

The next phase is removing the seats and stripping them down and changing the airbags over.

My sewing skills dont run to re trimming seats (shirt button at a push) ... So took the upper seat to local trimmers and they re stitch the seam. The rest of the seat is double stitched but the air bag seam is only single stitch so that the airbag easily deploys when it needs too.

In part 3 of the rebuild, I will refit the seats to the car.

see you in part 3
