Yeah, our local publications also reported 200kw and not 191kw as initially thought. Awesome!

I'm glad to see they had the sense to put a limited slip diff into it :)

My RCZ THP 200 is limited in a way at 6500 RPM it would not go beyond 240 km/hr even on a downhill and with tail wind.

But yes with THP 270 i think limited top speed without maxing out the RPM is a 1st time for a Peugeot.

Fun fact :D

The front brake discs are as stated 380mm. The same size as the Ferrari Enzo :D
Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera only has 365mm.

Oh it'll stop alright....

Surely its not just about size.
Im sure the Ferrari ones stop a hell of a lot better than the RCZ R ones

Yes the main difference is the calipers where Peugeot fails miserably compared the Ferrari quality. Also the Enzo has Carbon Ceramic brakes (as pictured by Absynthe), don't know if they bite any better than normal ones but they last longer atleast.

But even if the Ferrari's have "3-4 times the grunt" they are still traveling roughly the same speeds as the RCZ, apart from the 150+ mph, but how often is that even in a Ferrari... :)

I wonder how fast it would go without the limiter :eusa-think:

Probably 156 but they wanted to make it sound cool by saying they limited the top speed :p

Its a bit of a shame really as if the 200thp can do 150, you 70 extra bhp just for an extra 5mph :(
