RCZ GT 200BHP - AMBER RED

Eventually some pictures, not the best as taken with iPhone 4 as I couldn't find my camera. Might get better ones when I go away on holiday in 2/3 weeks time. Number plate not edited out as private plate will be going on within 2/3 weeks once retention sorted.

Wasn't the best light for taking the pictures either - was either in shade or the sun was blinding.

Car came with integral leather upgrade, solstice alloys upgrade and vision pack. I have already changed the DRL's to LED like many other members.

It really does look good. Wish I was able to upload photo like this. I know i could if I had the know how but as much as I try I fail every time. Does it have the champagne arches or is that just the sunlight?

I think the arches are just standard, the sunlight seems to catch them and they really stand out against the red paint.

Red isn't a colour I would normally have went for but I saw one in the showroom at the local dealer back in March, I really liked it. I resisted looking at the car on the first visit, but seeing as the CC spent nearly a month there, I was in a few times so eventually gave in to temptation

Red is probably my 2nd favourite RCZ colour after white although I don't think I would have wanted a white RCZ after the CC being white. I thought it was only nice when clean and any mark at all showed up after it was washed.

Normally I would only buy new cars, but after taking a £10k+ hit on the CC over 15 months, it wasn't really feasible to buy a new RCZ but it wasn't a bad buy at 4 months old, 1344 miles and £6k off list price.

I have never had a car I wasn't happy with until the CC so it's good to be back in a car I like.

I think after driving a 350Z roadster for 5 years meant the CC had a lot to live up to..... unfortunately it failed.

If they did a "ferrari red" red then i would be all over it but, and no offence meant here, it was just too orangey for me. It is a nice colour though.

brilliant pics.. Those are the nicest pics of a amber red 1 i have seen. And I have seen a lot. When i looked at the colors in the configurator, there was not really a color that spoke to me. As a sporty car color i like red, cant barely ever go wrong with red on any sporty car.. well.. IMO at least. But on the configurator it looked like

so i started to google for pics of all the colors. Until I found a amber red one that stood out. Googled for her again, just now, but couldnt find it. anyways,, that pic made me decide on the color.

Still havent seen amber red in the flesh,, but these pics made some more fears about making the right color choice dissapear... So TYVM

In the sun shes absolutely stunning. And thats an understatement.

i ordered the same but with GPS, Carbon roof, JLB, And just leather seats and no vision pack

37 days more to go...

PS 2. If theres going to be another photo competition thread. I'd suggest that you post the 4th pic That orange Z(orro) mark from the sun just below the window. Is the magic spot

Got to say, I didn't think the pics were anything special :lol: They were just quick after washing it and as I couldn't find normal camera, I just did them with the iPhone which I don't rate as a camera.

The red is a funny colour as in it seems to look different depending on the weather, e.g. sun etc.. I haven't had a red car since the new 1994 M 106 Mardi Gras I got and that's a long time ago and I really like it. I would say the colour choice for the RCZ is poor. I like blue, before the CC, my last 3 cars were blue but the RCZ needs a blue like the 307CC/308CC in my opinion, I don't like the RCZ blue.

It's strange buying the car I did and getting it within 8 days with it being an ex demo. The 308CC was a 14 week build wait and it ended up being 17 weeks as the dealer held it until 1st March for me so it was a 10 plate. The 206CC in 2001 was a 20 week wait and the big one was the 350Z roadster back in 2005 was a 15 month wait when ordered - but the dealer managed to get hold of one and it ended up being 15 weeks instead of months :lol:

No problem with the signature, I noticed the signature pic but didn't even notice it was my car and house

yeah,,, in the dark or clouded weather, she looks like she has a dark red evening dress... and when the sun shines,,, she takes the dress off to wear a bright red bikini.

its my second car, and my first real car i bought on my own,,, right now im driving a white pug 205 convertible.. and it was a good car for me to learn to drive...

Now im ready for something nice and new.... im sure ill be having fun discovering all the gadgets since i never drove a car younger then 10+ y

Im in love already and i havent even seen her yet
