RCZ engine management light stressor!

Hi there, I’ve just bought a new 1.6 petrol RCZ. After only 1 day the dreaded engine management light came on. Fault diagnosis pointed to 2 coil packs which were duly replaced and car was ok again for 1 week. The engine management light is back on again, although the car seems to be running ok. Have booked it into garage in 2 days time, but have my head in my hands thinking bad thoughts about buying a dodgy car (wasn’t cheap btw!). Any advice/ positive or otherwise would be greatly appreciated.

There’s so many things that can throw up an EML, most are nothing and can reset after a couple of runs out but many do chase faults throwing parts at the car until one works! Having a independent specialist is key to solving issues with the PSA engine

Thanks for the good advice. The garage is going to replace the spark plugs and 2 remaining coil packs and reset the light. If the light comes back again I’ll book it into a Peugeot garage , but the next available slot is sometime in April! If light comes back on after all that then I’ll sell it and crawl back under my stone!
