Gave the car a good polish last week with Chemical Guys V4 All-In-One Polish, Shine & Sealant, then topped it off with a layer of Dodo Juice Diamond White. Windows were all cleaned with Rain-X Glass Cleaner and Rain Repellent (my local Halford is out of normal Rain-X so had to use the 2-in-1 - actually works quite well, the repellent effect is nearly as good as with plain Rain-X). The insides were cleaned with Autoglym Glass Polish. Wheels were cleaned with Bilberry Wheel Cleaner and sealed, half with Autoglym Alloy Wheel Seal, the other half (ran out of the AG) with Halfords own Wheel Seal. Early reports show no noticable difference in performance between the two.

Pics below taken after a further wash a few days later when we finally had some half decent weather! I was hoping to get some good quality pics with my brother's camera but he was at the French Car Show so had to use my iPhone.

Attended a charity rolling road day on Saturday at Bob Watson Porsche with Oxdubz (I went with my brother in his 106 Rallye and a couple more modified Pugs), I have a vid of the RCZ on the rollers but it was taking an age to upload and is, frankly, quite boring. Result was 146BHP and 170lb/ft which is down from the claimed stats but as rolling roads are never going to be that accurate I really couldn't care less, it was just a bit of fun. Very nice torque curve though :D

Some nice gloss on that paintwork. Really looks like a lion about to pounce in some of those pictures.
Good job :)

No it is not just you. I believe so too, hence Pearl2 has black mirrors and callipers.

Thanks for the kind comments guys

I'm going to enter the competition but I just can't decide which pic to enter... I may stick a few up and let the mods decide.

I have to agree about the mirrors bigmac and Ron, it was a very last minute addition and I was unsure due to Pearl being such a lovely paint finish that it would work (ie, having less Pearl paint on the car!) However, alongside the black grille I think they look excellent.

RCZ owner, thanks for your comment. The mirrors are horses for courses IMO. I see it the other way round - carbon fibre looks tacky due to it's vast over-use in many "modified" cars. The RCZ I test drove had the carbon roof skin which I was not a fan of. Give me gloss black any day! :D

The thing with the black caps, is it makes the entire door mirror cover black. If you opt for standard then you get a black base and a colour coordinated cap. I prefer the all black look and especially on my Pearl White RCZ
