pump for the tubro

just got to work and parking my rcz and then the engine light came on , not good . Had to take a day off work and took it to peugeot , to find out what is wrong. GOT a call about 15.00 to say the pump for the tubro has gone and need to order a new one ,so hope will get my car back on saturday morning .
what does this pump do for the tubro?
do you notice if it has gone in the car ? because i did not, when taking to peugeot dealer.
can anyone help

The only pump i could forsee you needing for a turbo would be for the oil system. A turbo uses the oil to lubricate the bearings inside and to help remove heat by transferring it to the flowing oil. No idea about the specifics of the RCZ though.

i don't know what pump the service manger mean but he did said he has not seen it could in for repair before.

Had the same fault last week- car simply wouldnt start- part replaced and seems fine now
