Power steering problem?

I have about 6 weeks of warranty left on my car, so I'm sending it in on Thursday to have this niggly issue looked at. When I'm turning the car around in the driveway etc, I notice a groaning sound when I turn the wheels from full lock in one direction to full lock in the other direction, right when the wheels pass through the point where they are pointing straight. I'm wondering if it's a power steering issue? Has anybody had the same thing, or noticed it with their car?

My RCZ done this from day one, when full lock was engaged on either side whilst i reversed out the driveway but i didnt think it to be anything to worry about as nothing ever came of it the whole 22 months i had the car...but nowt wrong getting the dealers to have a look at it before the warranty expires mate :)

Thanks peeps. It's going in for flaking lacquer and a white coloured corrosion on two of the alloy wheels too so no harm in them checking it out. Hoping to get two new alloys out of its visit to the garage if nothing else!

My old Z had that full lock reverse thing, it felt like it was slipping on something right at the end of the turn, along with an inherent pull to the left that Peugeot couldn't find the fault with ....Most of you know the outcome from me, they deemed the car as dangerous , I now have a brand new Magnetic for my hassles
