Phone apps (no sound)

Hi
Was wondering if anyone knows how to get the sound of certain apps (ie sat nav,speed cam etc) to come through when the radio,usb or aux is on.
It seems to come through if your listening to the music on the phone through the stereo but not the radio, usb or aux is on.
The phone at present is a iPhone 5s.
Is it possible to get it to work when these 3 options are being used.
Any help with this one is much appreciated.

Hi Alfy,
yes the sound will work when using the Radio USB or AUX.
As far as I can remember, you have an option in the setup menu for the volume of the Sat Nav so I can only assume it's turned down/off. The system automatically turns down the volume of whatever you are listening to for the duration of any announcements made. When I get chance I will check it out on mine, unless one of our knowledgeable colleagues provides a better answer in the meantime

I think I may have worded it wrong. I mean the sat nav and speed cam apps on my phone.
I dont have the sat nav built in to my Rcz, i just have the standard radio model in mine.

Hi Alfy, it's Pete. Sorry, yes I misunderstood your question. I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you regarding your phone aps, but maybe someone on here will know.
