Hi,

Having repeated issues with my turbo cutting out. Cut out recently and cleared fault codes but would cut out weekly- engine management light shown so took it into Peugeot specialist and below codes shown;

P2600 turbo cooling coolant pump control: open circuit
P023C control of the coolant pump actuator: short - circuit to the battery plus

Replaced turbo coolant pump with genuine Peugeot part.

Not even a week later, turbo has cut out again but no engine management light/ any dash light has appeared.

Besides turbo cutting out, mpg changes erratically; Anything between 20-999.

Please can someone help point me in the right direction of what could be causing the issue?

Thanks in advance!

Depending on the mechanical function being fully operative the wastegate solenoid/regulating valve can cause issues with the code P0243 showing a fault has been detected & can mean the solenoid is failing?
Alternately coolant pump fault may point to wiring or the actual pump iself not performing as it should be may poss be down to blockages?

Hi, don’t suppose you know anything to do with the ECU being corrupted? Currently fault code P2191 - Richness Adjustment lean fuel/air mixture. Took it into specialist garage today but they’ve advised the ECU is corrupted and to take to main dealer but no availability for a while! Thanks in advance

ECU can corrupt itself (Flashed) but you need to check numerous things I took one off 207cc once & sent it away to a firm who specialised in software issues they found numerous software corruptions & previous repair evidence but did fix the problems perhaps a indie garage can sort it for you finding any faults is a stage by stage process
