Hi everyone I have a query regarding the front bumper pressure sensors for the pedestrian safety system,

I unfortunately recently had little front end damage from a large wild animal deciding to play chicken, unfortunately both parties lost.

Ive got everything sorted to be able to drive the car again, luckily everything was cosmetic however the preasure tube between the 2 sensors has snapped fortunately it did not activate the pedestrian safety system, it seems to only be silicone tubing but would I be able to use any silicone tubing to replace it? As I know its pressure is monitored for fluctuations for activating the system but apart from that I dont know if it has to be a specific internal diameter, wall thickness etc.

Any help appreciated
