Pcv delete before remap ?

Hi iam booked in to have my 156gt remapped in a couple of weeks , but I've been reading that you need to do a pcv delete for the extra pressure made by the extra torque and bhp after mapping , I asked the tuner and he said its a good engine mod on the thp ,, the caps to block the pipe off are only a few pound from peugeot , but my question is has any one had a remap or done a pcv delete ? Any problems ? And when you block the holes with the caps how is the crank case vented ? And is the pcv a easy sit job ,,,Cheers Alan

Not seen this or had it recommended by our remapper (SuperChips). We would not recommend it or see a reason to as the increase in power is not that significant to start messing with the circulation of gases, that is usually left to highly modified engines where pressures from more air inflow requires this type of mod. Plus the PCV is part of the emissions system. So we say leave it as is and only do it if there is real reason to delete it.
