Another new purchase problem (Oh well I wanted a project!)

After appearing that the seat was working ok,initially,my wife complained that it felt like she was sitting on something lumpy.

The seat then failed to move backwards or forwards.

Having looked underneath I extracted a mini squeegee which had become stuck in the mechanism.

Even after extracting it there was no response from the switch although the back will recline.

Any suggestions before I hand it over to an Auto Electrician.

Have you checked the fuses? If the motors were trying to move the seat but it was mechanically jammed, it might have blown a fuse?
Also, check the connectors are all pushed in fully.
