Passenger mirror

All of a sudden my passenger door mirror has stopped working... I cannot move it via the 'joystick' thingy, it won't fold in using the switch, it doesn't fold when locking the doors and obviously doesn't tilt after engaging reverse.

Has anyone else had this issue - if so, what's causing it, and how was it fixed?

Have you checked the fuses?

Does each mirror have a separate fuse?

Also, I fear this may manifest itself as an intermittent problem, as the mirror failed to fold one day last week but has been ok since.
