I am collecting my first RCZ today, brought on an impulse, as l was originally heading for ikea when l passed the Peugeot
dealer. It was a demonstrator 2.0 hdi GT Moroccan Red 6 months old. Its the first car l have brought since becoming a widow, tough doing it on my own! Excited but hoping l have made a good choice.

You will not regret your impulsive buy. You could have done a whole lot worse than buying an amazing car, that is fun to drive, due to it's amazing road holding. Fun to look at because it is such a stunning looking car. The stereo will amaze you by it's quality and the frugality of it's running costs will not take too many more £'s out of your wallet  It'll give you much more pleasure and last for longer than a purchase from IKEA

Wishing you well on the personal front too, allow me to offer my condolences and hope that your new found friend will cheer your spirits, as I'm certain that it will.

Welcome

The car won't replace your loss but it will go an awfully long way to concentrating your mind on something a little more pleasurable :)

Have to say, you've certainly chosen the right colour. Moroccan red is truly gorgeous

Enjoy your new find and remember its a whole lot more enjoyable than going to Ikea :)

I know of a friend who went to buy a new bed for the bedroom and returned with a Yamaha DX-7 synthesizer, but a car instead of Ikea furniture surely tops this

(...but, his OH wasn't exactly happy when he returned back home... :eusa-whistle: )

Well you were all right, l adore my new RCZ it was a wise choice, l keep looking out of the window and smiling!
Its been a while since l had a new car so all the buttons and stalks mean a lot of book reading, but worth it.
And it is such a head turner, even a teenager walking past said to me l love those cars,
It drives like a dream! Photos to follow when it stops raining.

You can get some amount of IKEA cr@p in the back of an RCZ when the seats are down!!!

Great boot, l had no idea the seats came down till l looked in the book, what a good idea its so versatile. Salesman did
not tell me how many good features the car has, he did tell me it was taxed, but not that there was only 5 days left, however l have now taxed it and found 12 months tax cheaper than 6 months on my old 306.
