Has anyone had the parking sensors switching themselves off every now and then?

Eeek! Hope you've not found that out the hard way!! Are your sensors clean, maybe that's why they're intermittent... but then they should give a long beeeeeeeep if they are dirty.... :eusa-think:

Nope.

Don't forget that you have to activate the reverse gear for the rear sensors to work mind.

No long beeps-heard this when covered in snow last winter. I think it is just the beloved peugeot electrics. Already had an oil level warning sensor replaced last December. That was an intermittent fault.Going to dealer on Sat to get 3 alloys changed under warranty because of corrosion and will mention problem then.

I had problems with my parking sensors, it was all down to water getting into boot lock switch, which is a known fault, sending electrics into meltdown.

I took the car in this week as the the sensors had not switched themselves off for a long time. However with the warranty running out in May I thought it would be a shrewd move. A faulty front sensor was diagnosed and replaced along with a sagging driver's door seal.
