Today was exactly one year since I said goodbye to my lovely Peugeot 407 Coupe (2.7HDi) and hello to my RCZ GT200. To say these cars are as different as chalk and cheese is an understatement - the 407 was a big lazy V6 auto, roomy, very quiet, comfortable and powerful. At first I wasn't sure I'd made the right decision getting the RCZ because it's the opposite of all those 407 attributes but as time has gone on I have adjusted and come to appreciate the different set of attributes offered by the RCZ.
Things I like a lot:
The way it looks (inside and out), the handling, the acceleration (once you're past the slightly clunky first to second gear change), the economy (although it's a 200bhp petrol engine it does around 4mpg more than the 407 diesel), the engine's flexibility and smooth power delivery, reliability, being part of this forum.
Things I like less:
The ride is fine on good roads but quite uncomfortable on very poor surfaces, road noise on coarse tarmac (which I'm hoping will be improved by a tyre change at some point).
So nearly 12k miles and generally very happy!
