Oil filler emulsifing

Be grateful for any pointers prior to me going back to the garage again with our RCZ it's a low mls 19k 2010 200bhp gt model.
Only had it 6 months and it only does about 25mls per day.
We had a turbo boost sensor problem that they struggled to identify and fix when we got the car but my wife drives it very sedately and it's only on occasion when I drive does it get the beans....
It's also saying it requires oil but as per the dip stick it seems fine....engine runs OK no rattles or knocks.
Is it a blocked breather or crappy oil or just the short drives and is it a problem or even a known issue with these cars.
Also the heated seats heat but not that good nothing like any of the other cars we've had is that normal too...
Thanks

Do you mean you get a message asking you to top the oil up but the dipstick measurement tells you otherwise? If so, and you are sure that the dipstick is ok (only saying that because it's notoriously difficult to read) then it's probably a duff oil level sensor.

Thanks for the reply.
The car is reporting oil required the oil is down but not by that much.the bigger issue I'd the white goo round the oil filler, garage are saying it's normal on all Peugeots it's just a poor breather system on their engines ???
Is that true ??

If it doesn't drink the coolant then it needs to stretch it legs on a longer trip. Some engines can build up some goo when driven mostly on short distances. The engine need to get up to operating temperature for a longer period to get rid off it entirely.

What you must not do is to give it some beans right from the start. It will need some 20-30 miles of driving before you can up the game.

Basically the white goo or mayonnaise is cause by condensation in the engine which mixes with the oil to create this goo.

The engine oil needs to get upto temperature where it can "burn off" the water vapour.

Usually takes 10 minutes for oil to start to get to operating temperature, when fully up to temperature then it can start to burn the water vapour this process will take time maybe another 30 minutes, hour etc.

Thanks for all the replies and help
Goo is cleaned...oil topped up.
I asked two main dealers same question... 1 gave the same advice as here the other said they'd never seen that before and car should be recovered to them ...
Thanks again Paul H

If you go to a main dealership make sure you go to the one that give sensible advise versus absolute bull!!!
