No you are not the only one and judging by this thread there are many, many people who do not have issues
new-car-worries-t2373.html

The trouble with forums is that you tend to only hear the negative side, when people have problems. All the people who don't have problems, don't have anything to post :D

The positives certainly outweigh the negative threads IMO

I've had loads of problems I have to admit, but the dealer has always sorted them out and there is no other car I would rather have

Bee,
for every one positives you will find a not so positive. afterall it's a forum. Anyone can post a link showing good comments, likewise can be done showing negative comments and geuine faults.

I for one, like others have posted a few not so positve threads regarding the build quality on the RCZ . I would love to be able to stand up and say "nothing to report" but unfortunatley like others before me i cannot, but would genuinely love to be in that postition because i so much want to love this car like you and others do.

I'am pleased for yourself and others that you feel this car is performing to your expectations. Others though expect a tad more, even from Peugeot.

However on a plus side if you look at most of the issues raised and lets be honest there ARE a good number, but nothing that really stands out as major, ok the mirror thing is a bit naughty and should be addressed officialy by Peugeot via a recall.

Positives out weighing the negatives, mmm, now that is debatable.
Nearly everyday there is a new issue raised, ok maybe something simple or just annoying but it's an issue after all. IMO

I'm not disagreeing and saying this car is rubbish , my point is, it has issues and is not trouble free as the many other posts show.

We shall all have to agree to disagree . :D :( just like these two

I had one small issue with a rattle coming from the driver's side air vent, took it back to the dealer and they fixed it - no problem. Otherwise (touch wood) my RCZ has been perfect. I think this is the best car I have ever owned, I love driving it!

i disagree with the comment that you only read negative comments the idea of forums is not only to pick up on positive issues but also the little niggly problems if no one ever reported any issues nothing would improve for the next generation of rcz

J_ Slade,

A valid point.
Theres really no point in saying everything is a bunch of roses when for some owners it clearly is not. I agree EVERYTHING big and small should be reported or mentioned.

For example i posted a thread this morning regarding servicing, within 5 mins of posting that thread i had an email from Peugeot asking for more details, so there is definatley very good reason to bring up every issue.

I haven't had any problems with mine and it's 13 months old now.
Have only done 5,000 miles in it as I'm away at sea for my job.

Taking it for it's birthday detailing when I get home in 3 weeks.
The only criticism I have with the car is the water stains under the door mirrors and no LED lights fitted on the bumper, but hey it's a new concept car
for Peugeot so hope in time any other faults people have had will be sorted.
