What is it with me lately? And what's going to be the next thing ? :(

Rushing this morning, a hundred and one jobs to do - money to get out of the cash machine (out of order  ), fill up the car with fuel as running on empty, (queuing right back out of the retail park so gave that a miss) :x , post some last minute cards at the local sorting office post box (which was brimming over with cards so decided would take them somewhere else) , get some flowers to take to cemetery from the local person in the lay-by ( but of course today, he wasn't there  ), visit my brother's to drop off some presents, etc, get to my Mum's for the arranged time to take her to cemetery ( by which time I was already late  ).....

So what did I do - only bloody curbed my alloy

First scraping my wing mirror, now curbing my alloy, what's going to be next :eusa-think:

I wish that the 6 numbers were going to be the next thing or do I :eusa-think: Money can be more trouble than it's worth especially when you get into that sort of amount of money. I think I'll stick with what I've got :eusa-whistle:

You are right. Usually I am laid back and like to take my time but today was just one of those days when everything seemed to be going wrong and that was just the icing on the cake. I will take it to be repaired once Christmas is out of the way.

All the best for the Christmas festivities Mel

I curbed mine this weekend too :'( I can't even blame anyone else, I just wasn't paying attention when i pulled up against the kerb. Felt sick to my stomach and it's a right cracker. But I guess it had to happen sooner or later and out of all the wheels it was odds on going to be that one :-(

So which one was it Donna? Mine was the front passenger wheel.

It's not a nice feeling is it! I don't swear normally but a few expletives did emanate from my lips :eusa-whistle:

Mine too, I don't think I even swore, I was just so disappointed in myself that I just uttered "oh well".

I can't believe I did it to be honest, since getting the RCZ I've been so anal about kerbs I usually end up at least a foot away from it, I look like a learner driver that can't park for peanuts!

Well as an update to this thread, the third thing has happened - hopefully this will be the last :eusa-think:

Cleaning Pearl today for what must be the first time in 3 weeks, I've noticed that someone has either dinged my other wing mirror now and left a small mark on it or it's a stone chip. So that one will have to be repaired too. I tell you these new wing mirrors have brought me so much bad luck, I'm starting to wish that I'd never had them changed.

Also on closer inspection of my curbed alloy, it took me ages to find where it was, it's hardly noticeable but I will still take it to be repaired.

Hope 2012 will be problem free for Pearl :D

I have kerned one of my alloys in a multi storey car park and on thursday night my mates sister reversed into the back of my car so got a nice scratch on the back of the car amazingly not dented it just damaged the paint down to the plastic (and a tiny chunk out the back)

Update on this: booked Pearl in to have her alloy wheel repaired. Very nice chap that I met this morning who hopefully will repair it on Monday, as long as his very pregnant wife does not give birth before then!

Very reasonable price too - £45. Cheaper than I paid for two alloys to be repaired on my last car, but its a different place that I've taken it to this time.

Well my alloy wheel has been repaired and what a great job they have done too. Well pleased and has been perfectly blended. Well worth £45 of my money. A happy bunny again
