Hey
Im James or Ghosty, currently driving a mercedes c220 cdi sports coupe on a 57 reg but due to my driving style being to agressive for rwd, yes i keep throwing it out on corners, roundabouts and even straight roads, im having to change my car that has only covered 37k so prob worth close to 8.5k on a private sale, sorry if it sounds like im trying to sell it, lol.
so i have a few choices, but i wanted a coupe. i have been looking at audi tt's but for the money etc i cant afford a newer one with low ish miles, so that only leaves my other option of the RCZ which i have always liked.
im still learning about the car, but have driven pugs in the past, was a very active member on 206info and 306 cab club, so bare with me, as i may have a few questions, at the moment im still in the loooking stage as i have to sell the merc before i buy an RCZ, my intended budget is about 12.5k so should have some good choice for that, im not bothered about colour (would prefer white), and it has to be a GT and has to have sat-nav (see question 1), it also has to be the mk1 as i like the front better with fogs (i already have a plan for this type front end). so i guess ill start by asking some questions.
1, the sat-nav how can i tell the difference, i though there was only one type in the RCZ but reading some posts it appears there is 2 types, the rt6 and the ng4, but how do you tell which is which, and which is better, are they interchangable.
2, the active spoiler can this be activated manually, ie if im doing 30 can i press the button and have it pop up (like the tt does)
3, not had a drive in one yet so how well does it hold the road, doe it tend to under/oversteer etc.
4, is there a model with a panoroof, as i would like that bubble to be seen through from inside of course.
5, besides the std pug sport accessories, what else is available in terms of splitters, side skirts, even full body kits.
think thats all for now
