Noise

Hi all, First time I've posted so, here goes. I have a RCZ diesel and what a fantastic car! 10 plate and I have owned it for over a year , all great! From the day I had it , it has made a noise when I turn the engine off, usually after I have locked it via the remote, a friend said its to do with the fuel pressure and is normal??? anyone ever heard of that before? I recently had it serviced and the problem was gone when I got it back, only now its started again. Need to know as its still under warranty

I enquired about this on mine with the top guys at Peugeot HQ on the RCZ meet. Don't worry it's perfectly normal I'm told.

That sounds like the diesel Pre heater, warming the fuel before the engine starts.

In relation to "balls" question, yes there are all sorts of weird and wonderful noises when you turn the engine off. Perfectly normal.
