No they use a sound synthesiser, that car sounds like it has a aftermarket exhaust fitted

Actually, my THP200 sounds exactly like this when reved hard. With the standard exhaust.

BTW, Peugeot doesn't use a synthesizer (that's what Audi/VAG does), the engine sound is transmitted via a black tube to the bulkhead/cabin.

Yes they do it uses "sound system technology which amplifies the sound through a diaphragm"
