Good morning all,
i am an owner of an Rcz 200thp with sat nav ng4 Wipcom3d which at a certain time had 0 satellites:
Took it to the dealer they could not find any issues with the diag computer then we ordered an original antenna ( 75€ part total 150€ fitted to no avail)
then I was quoted 400€ + fitting if they sent the nav by post to be repaired
after months of considerations I thought I would give up on it all to just use Google maps on my phone…
i had read so many forums some said it’s the antenna some the chip on the harmann becker system some the dash cam interference being close to the antenna ( it’s inside the black casing just under the rear window mirror)…
Then I thought well perhaps it’s the faulty yellow 20amp fuse since the position would only correctly appear after hours parked only to go back in the car and zero satellites again..
changed the fuse nothing improved then a breakthrough happened when I disconnected an aftermarket Chinese Bluetooth charger with the cable of the dash cam and the satellites came back..
i thought it must be the dash cam but i disconnected it just with the charger on and still was with zero satellites so i got it was the Bluetooth charger interference!
