Hi.I have sold my sunday porsche boxster .
I now have a focus as a daily and a small van.ime looking at a type r to replace the focus as a daily and the boxster as a fun car.i dont do loads if miles.
Are there any issues with these to be aware of and ok as a daily ??.
I would be looking for a latest type with low miles.
Sorry for starting my first thread with a question.

Are you sure you are in the right Forum? Type R is a Honda.

There is a RCZ R and only one model.

The RCZ R can be used as a daily with no problem. I use mine as a daily. It’s economical too.

:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:

Questions are always good.

Type R, I believe is a Honda Variant. the RCZ R only ever came in one type. It is based on the Mk II RCZ. If you do a quick search on here for the R, you will find that almost all owners use theirs as a daily driver.

You will certainly not regret your purchase, you will only wish you had bought one sooner.

Not a lot of faults on the R. Squealing brakes were an issue on early ones and these tended to be changed under warranty by the dealer with an improved version. Be aware that replacements disks and pads for the front are circa £1600 so plan for that in your budget. Otherwise just look for a good example and you won’t be disappointed.

To be honest, I’d take a dodgy R over a perfect Focus any day :p

Sorry Mark, only just seen this.

Are you sorted?

Is the red one on Autotrader ? You should be able to get the price down on that too.

Good luck today and look forward to seeing what you think of it

It's not the MR RCZ car is it? Looks very impressive, though the white 65 plate is probably a better buy, or the white Irish one for £14k with only 21k smiles.

Which ever one you choose - you won't regret it just as much fun as the boxster but lot less running costs....

Apart from the brakes  LOL.

Good luck and post some pics when you get it.

Cheers n Beers
